The organisation
Myisrael is a UK charity supporting under-the-radar charities in Israel. We focus on how to make giving meaningful, both to the donor and the recipient and key to our organisation is the desire to give donors choice on where to put their donation. We currently support 18 charities in Israel, each working with a different population group to improve their lives and help them reach their potential.
The role
We are seeking a UK-based Marketing and Communications Manager, to join our amazing, dedicated team. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll work closely with our events manager, community outreach coordinator and our team in Israel. The role involves writing copy for all marketing collateral including social media and website. Creating and managing our marketing and communications strategy to include appeals (eg. Rosh Hashana and Pesach) and campaigns (eg. Chanukah) as well as fundraising events. You’ll need to create and manage our feedback to donors and to ensure that our brand is consistent throughout. You’ll also be responsible for planning and implementing the publicity for our fundraising events and campaigns which will include maintaining and developing our social media presence. This role is a good fit for someone who is extremely well organised and efficient, a good project manager who can manage lots of projects at once, without dropping the ball. 
Required skills and experience
• Good understanding of the UK Jewish community
• Proven track record in non-profit marketing and communications
• Experience and excellence in copy writing 
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and a great eye for design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent understanding and experience of running social media campaigns.
• Strategic thinker who can look at the ‘big picture’
• Team player who will take on tasks to achieve a common goal
